Western Rio Blanco Metro. Recreation and Park
District owns and operates the Rangely Recreation
Center located at 611 S. Stanolind Avenue, Cedar
Ridges Golf Course at 502 County Road 108, and Elks
Park, 311 S. Stanolind Avenue all in Rangely, CO.

ELKS PARK
The playground has recently been upgraded with
all new equipment. The gazebos and restrooms are
scheduled for replacement this summer. There are
also horseshoe pits, a sand volleyball court and
several fire pits for cooking. Gazebos/pavilions can
be reserved. Kevin Poole Memorial Field is at the
west end of the park has two lighted softball fields.
RANGELY CAMPER PARK
23 space camping, restrooms/shower, dump
station, and electrical available at 7 of the spaces.
Located at 940 E. Rangely Avenue. Park site
includes gazebo, sand volleyball, horseshoe pits,
fishing ponds and river access. Rates are $20 for
spaces with electrical hookups and $15 without. Non
campers can shower for $2 or use the dump station
for $5. There is a 14 day limit on camping.
OTHER FACILITIES
The District maintains both Museum Park and
Hefley Park (east and west entrance parks) for
the Town and Escalante Site (State historical
marker). The District also maintains the Rangely
High School Baseball Field.
