Mission Statement
The Western Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Park District exists
to provide healthful and creative recreational programs, activities, and
facilities to meet the needs of the District’s citizens, regardless of race,
age, or physical condition.

The District currently encompasses approximately 1,275 square miles in
the western half of Rio Blanco County, CO; serving the Town of Rangely and
the surrounding rural areas.
The District is governed by an elected Board of Directors. The Board's
meetings are the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the
Recreation Center multi-purpose room. The agenda is posted at the front
entrance of the Recreation Center. The public is welcome to attend.
