Christmasfest is a festival meant to bring the entire community together for the holiday season. This years theme is let it snow. You will find events meant for all ages, Christmasfest events are provided free to the community.
Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt
The elf will be located throughout the town at different businesses every day. Once you find the elf you must take a selfie with him and post it on the Rangely’s Elf on the Shelf Facebook page. Once you do this you will be entered to win chamber bucks after the event is over. If you purchase something at that location of the elf that day and post that receipt on the Rangely’s Elf on the Shelf Facebook page you will be entered for a second chance to win Chamber bucks Contact Rangely Chamber with any questions 970-675-5290. Begins November 26th and ends December 8th.
Light Up Rangely
Contact the Rec Center for more information on how to participate 970-675-8211. Judging will be on December 6th so please leave your lights on late that night. We will have different categories that you will need to enter. Please make sure to get up to the Rec Center and enter yourself for a category if you want your house entered.
Sleigh Rides will be held December 7th at 1485 La Mesa Circle from 5-8 p.m.. This event is sponsored by WRBM Rec and Park District and provided by Absolute Prestige to the public for free so please tip the sleigh driver.
There will be a chili bar, hot cocoa bar as well as a fire pit to make smores. This part of the event is sponsored by Wildlife Expressions so make sure to bring your whole family and come out and enjoy the fun.
Breakfast with Santa
Head into the Rec Center and join Santa for a picture that is printed out for no charge and a free breakfast for the entire family.
Let it Snow Carnival
The carnival activites will be located at the Rangely High School Commons from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. There will be a snowflake cookie decorating, cake walk and other fun games.
Snowflake Baby Contest
Saturday, December 8th at 3:00 p.m. we will gather up ages 0-5 years. There are specific age groups 0-6 months, 7-12 months, 13-18 months, 19-24 months and 3-5 years. So don’t miss showing off your cuties.
Parade of Lights
The parade is Saturday, December 8th at 6:00 p.m. Line up starts at the Car Museum on South Stanolind and heads down to the Fire Hall.
Missoula Children’s Theatre
Saturday, December 8th at 7:00 p.m. we will be at the Rangely High School Auditorium to enjoy a free Missoula Children’s Theatre performance for all to attend.
